Fall Harvest

From the first signs of ripening fruit to the final pour, every season at Springhill Bed & Breakfast / Winery & Vineyards tells its own story. You’ll find us checking the vines by hand, admiring clusters heavy with grapes ready for harvest. Our kids jump in too — riding the tractor, gathering fruit, and helping bring in the day’s pick — and we’re lucky to have friends who join us each year, lending a hand and sharing in the fun. We’re always grateful for volunteers during harvest, and it’s one of the most rewarding times on the estate. Inside the winery, vats of fermenting must fill the room with the unmistakable aroma of a new vintage coming to life. And when the work winds down, there’s nothing better than sharing a glass in the processing room, celebrating the effort, the tradition, and the community that goes into every bottle we make.
